My 1st week in YJC...Hey Guys... long time no see... As u all probably know... I am in YJC CTG 123!!! FTW!!!
On the 1st week... there was orientation...
On the 1st day... Went to sch with Laura... took the noob way.. khatib mrt+ bus 812... Woke up super early la... So excited... W/e... coz normally i dun wake up even with 5 alarms... HAHAHA..
Ok... started the day off with admin stuff+breakfast... NAZI Lemak .
Fortunately for me... Glennard... who was in 4/1 was posted into the same class as me.. or i would have died of boredom... But the strange thing was tat he and i never talked until this orientation camp coz he sat at the other extreme end of the class...
Collected our Orientation package with a Blue+Red dri-fit shirt... Nt bad... $20 for 2 dri-fit shirts+ BBQ fees+ other stuff...
We later learnt tat those 2 dri-fit shirts with yjc's logo+orientation logo thing only cost $5.. Cheap sia... College race + doing wierd stuff later on...(Adapted from Claire's blog... Coz i have no recollection watsoever of the 1st day...)
I was SUPER SUPER SUPER SIAN after the 1st day... So much tat i wanted to quit jc... LOL SRY GUYS... Nearly cried/died of boredom...
The next day(Day 2 of Survivor )... we started off by getting taught a mass dance/couple dance kinda thingy... It was the 1st time i ever danced...+ with a girl... I was thinking more of the ACES day kinda nerding dance... Oh well.. watever... It was SUPER FUN LA.... haha getting steps wrong tgt...Den eventually having FUN... getting it correct... Fun Rating-10/10.
Next up was...making our Civics Tutorial Group(CTG)Flag+ Cheer... As CTG 123 had super enthu/artistic ppl... it was easily done...
I started becoming more hyped after that... Slowly... Coz not as sian as 1st day...
On the 3rd day... External companies were called in to organise activities to help us bond tgt as a class... Wow man... Standing up in a circle tgt with others and no hands is quite challenging...
And as if tat was nt tough enuff... Had to do tat with the WHOLE SCHOOL...~~~ In the end... Epic Fail... & then some genius ppl decided to come up with some GENIUS way of standing up tgt... And finally the TASTE OF SUCCESS... AS A SCHOOL... wow... picture perfect moment..~~
Den we played some game where u had to go arnd burning ppl's rafia to capture their country( tats like the groups for the games ) . Rules were u cannot blow out other's candles without 1st having ur own lit... But the wind was not helping us out at all... So in the end... it was quite hard... Den.. i decided to smart aleck abit and since they say we cannot blow out the candles without having ours lit... There was this guy who came near with his candle and using 1 hand to protect it... So i told myself ok lor... make him extinguish his own fire... WITH HIS OWN HAND... so i pushed his hand in... SO BAD... AWWW... aiya but he was nt rly burnt... & neither did i break any rules... So objectively speaking... he extinguished his own candle...
4th Day... THE AMAZING RACE... Only could use bus once...Den travelled round whole of Yishun bla bla... Made so much noise at 1 station from cheering tat the police were called in...ONE of whom was an ex-YJC STUDENT!! OMG!!
We completed 8/11 of the stations la... So wat the heck... anyway we had more fun talking to each other and bonding along the way... So on the way... we met an IT... Who i thought was a fat indian lady until i saw the frontal view... MANS FACE+ BEARD+MOUSTACHE OMG...!!! FREAKZILLAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!!!
All the girls were like kinda hoarse from screaming the cheers whole day... Haha i did abit of shouting here and there...
Took 812 back to YJC... Heng we take from super early... 1 big loop and thus we were able to get seats+places... As we moved on we noticed more YJCians getting on board till the whole bus was full of sweaty red shirted YJC ppl... YUCKS~~~ XD.
After that... We went to Long John Silver's at Northpoint GV... Aiyo... as i was talking and cutting my fish... some1 saw tat i was doing a horrible job and went to cut the fish up for me... I explained tat i hated cutting the styrofoam so i anyhow cut lor as long as i didn't cut the styrofoam up... Den there was this big bell which we would ring if we felt the service was good... Glennard went to ring it SUPER SUPER LOUD FOR 3 SECONDS B4 WE LEFT... So, there was this mum who stood up and said F*** You... ,U F***er, WAT F***ing School are u from??? LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: THIS COMING FROM A MOTHER WITH A BABY IN HER ARMS IS WOW!!! OMGWTFBBQ !!!
Anyway, we decided to guai lan again and the last person went to ring the bell again... and we walked off proudly... -.-

Last day of SURVIVOR YJC:
Started day with CCA tryouts... Which were disguised as games... Lame attempt... Yjc ppl to conceal ur pathetic attempts... HAHA SUCKERS!! But it was fun... They took down my name for badminton,Table tennis and Tennis coz i think they needed players as a competition was comin up... Anyway, i will still go for badminton coz it RULEZ!!
Helped carry TONNES OF BBQ food from a DODO Fish ball van which was under BBQ Whole Sale... LOL like some undercover mission truck sia... HAHA..
Lastly we started our Fire with OGL Jeremy's expertise... Easy peasy to him... and we were the only group to have a strong fire... Others had super big fire... But their charcoal was nt burning... SADDED..
Me, Glennard and ALL THE AMKSIANS from 4/1 went in to jostle in the crowd... The band was quite awesome... But the sound equipment& stuff kinda sucked... Scratchy like dunno wat...Maybe coz the band was too loud...
Glennard then came and poured a whole bottle of water into my shirt and we started WATER WARS!!! We spammed water everywhere on every1 ... All the guys in the class got wet... INCLUDING Dave... haha.. tot u could run away eh??? Sry... as long as u are a guy from CTG 123.. ur dead... if ur not wet.
Claire's idea for cheese sausages and Cheese Wings were AWESOME... haha must use cheese next time we bbq liao...
Found out tat we are going to Bintan for Overseas CIP& Work attatchment& stuff. At the end of 5 days... I was absolutely different from day 1... I LOVE CTG 123!!! U GUYS RAWK!!! Hanging out with HIGH ppl made me HIGH like u all ... THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT A BLAST!!!
THANK YOU SHUN YU, JEREMY& WEI LUN & ALL THE OGL'S WHO MADE THIS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Thanks for being so patient, and devoting ur time to us to help us get acquianted with the school while managing ur own studies... G double O D JOB!! G double O D JOB!!

Gambling....Its 4.37am in the morning... Back from BAI-NIAN-ing at sgGold's hse... Siao 1... mad gamblers. lose like 4 digits 1.... In $$$ Hor... not some 10c 20c sai.
